Computer Repair Technician

This growth primarily will be a result of an increasing population and from the growing demand for personal appearance services, particularly skin care services.

The students will also learn back office procedures such as taking patient histories and vital signs, preparing patients for procedures, assisting the physician with examinations and treatments, and performing selected diagnostic tests as directed by the physician. The medical assistant technician will also learn basic medical laboratory and X-ray procedures.

Upon completion, the graduate will possess a working knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, human diseases, pharmacology, and basic medical coding and billing skills. The program includes courses in medical documentation, translating this into numerical codes, and assigning and sequencing diagnostic and procedural codes using universally recognized coding systems.
