Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Degree

Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at South University prepares graduates to pursue work in a wide variety of healthcare settings including acute care hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation facilities, home health, community-based clinics, and school health clinics. The program also gives you the opportunity to:

The Nursing RN to BSN degree completion program at South University is designed for registered nurses who hold an associate’s degree from a regionally accredited institution or who are diploma graduates of a school of nursing accredited by the National League of Nursing (NLNAC).

The RN to BSN degree completion program is structured in a way that allows students to pursue their studies without having to put their career or life on hold. Our accelerated course schedule combines campus and online classes and can help RNs achieve their goal of a BSN in an efficient manner.

• RNs may receive up to 45 credit hours for their nursing experience.

In South University’s Associate of Science (AS) in Physical Therapist Assisting (PTA) degree program, you will have an opportunity to gain the knowledge and skills needed to embark on this rewarding career.

Physical therapist assistants perform components of physical therapy procedures and related tasks selected by a supervising physical therapist. These workers assist physical therapists in providing services that help improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of patients suffering from injuries or disease. Patients include accident victims and individuals with disabling conditions such as lower-back pain, arthritis, heart disease, fractures, head injuries, and cerebral palsy.

The Physical Therapist Assisting program offers a curriculum that is well rounded in all fundamental concepts and theories as they apply to physical therapy modalities and rehabilitation procedures.

The primary objective of the Professional Counseling Master of Arts degree program at South University is to provide you with the comprehensive academic preparation to pursue professional counselor opportunities upon your graduation, subject to applicable state licensure requirements.

As a student in the two-year master’s degree program in Professional Counseling, you are taught using two primary modes of instruction:

• The majority of the program involves didactic and experiential classroom instruction, supplemented by computer-based assignments using Internet technology.
• The second mode of instruction focuses on supervised field experiences. Students are placed in actual community counseling settings and practice counseling under the auspices of an on-site supervisor. Students in field placements also receive weekly individual and group supervision from qualified faculty supervisors.
