At Motorcycle Mechanics Institute, we support our students beyond the classroomHousing Assistance The Student Services department offers a housing locator assistance and referral program for students, which will help you find housing options without having to hunt around a city you may not know. For general information about housing options for your campus, click here. You are encouraged to review this information now and wait to contact MTI for specific housing assistance until 2-6 weeks before you plan to relocate. This will help provide you with specific housing options that are currently available at the time you plan to begin renting. Employment Services The Employment Services department will provide a list of job openings that you can use to find work while you are going to school. We have hundreds of employers who regularly hire our students. Contact Student Services for a list of employers in the area who are hiring when you are ready to begin actively looking for a job. Financial Aid *Available For Those Who Qualify When you enroll at MTI, the Financial Aid Department will help you get all the grants, low-interest loans, and private financing that you qualify to receive. We’ll help you every step of the way. Scholarships MMI sponsors the MMI National Scholarship Competition, and other scholarships, which make available over $11,000,000 annually. There are many other scholarship opportunities, as well.

Information on Programs Offered:Harley Davidson or Buell Technician - You begin your journey by completing the first 27 weeks of the Motorcycle Technician prerequisite providing training on a full range of motorcycles representing the top manufacturers. After you’ve tackled the basics of theory, move into our individually equipped labs for a series of courses. Each focuses on a specific motorcycle system, emphasizing service, repair and maintenance procedures. Then, move on to the Harley-Davidson Technology section covering parts systems, vehicle maintenance, customer skills and management techniques. Complete your MMI journey with either the Harley-Davidson Early Model or Harley-Davidson Late Model elective (or both, if you prefer).If you have chosen Kawasaki, Suzuki or Yamaha electives, you complete the program by taking your choice of two electives based on your specific interests.
Yamaha - YamaPro® MMI offers the only Yamaha elective that is officially endorsed and equipped by Yamaha Motor Corp., USA. YamaPro is an intense 12-week course designed to provide you with the knowledge and experience necessary to become an entry-level Yamaha technician.
Kawasaki - K-Tech Specialist The K-TECH elective is officially endorsed and equipped by Kawasaki Motors Corp., USA. It's designed to provide you with the knowledge and experience necessary to become an entry-level Kawasaki technician. K-TECH is equipped by Kawasaki with current motorcycles, ATVs and watercraft. We supply all necessary special tools and machinery.
Suzuki - FAST (Factory Authorized Suzuki Training) The only Suzuki training course that is officially endorsed and equipped by the American Suzuki Motor Corporation, the FAST elective provides you with the knowledge and experience necessary to become an entry-level Suzuki technician.1 Campus Location Orlando, FL
