Information on Programs Offered:The Computer Technician program offered at FastTrain is hands-on and will prepare and orient individuals getting ready to take the CompTIA sponsored vendor neutral certification that certifies the competency of service technicians in the computer industry. Most major computer hardware and software vendors, distributors, resellers, and publications back the program. The practice labs provide the level of knowledge you need to install, configure, upgrade, maintain, and troubleshoot your PC compatible system hardware and software. Learn about hardware and accessories on today’s modern personal computers. The Management Information Systems program offered at FastTrain is a hands-on learning experience. This program validates a student’s knowledge and skills in key areas of network administration, security, and project management. This program is designed to provide students with business and technology skills needed to successfully manage data systems and meet business objectives.The Medical Assistant program will prepare and allow an individual to demonstrate the skills necessary to be a successful Medical Assistant. Upon completion of the program, the student will possess the knowledge and skills needed to function successfully as an entry level medical assistant in a clinic or physician’s office. Students will focus on anatomy, physiology and pathology of the various body systems as well as medical front-office / back-office skills, laboratory and diagnostic procedures.The Medical Coding Professional program is designed to prepare the student for entry-level employment as a medical office administrator in physician offices, clinics, and hospitals.The Network Professional program provides the necessary skills to become certified as a Windows 2003 MCSA / MCSE and provies the skills to deal with the “real-world” utilization of Windows 2003. After completing this hands-on program you will have all the critical skills necessary to plan, design, install, configure and administer a Windodws 2003 LAN / WAN.
